skidude there are alot more anti-netters than there are followers because quite simply he gets people banned. if you have to release 800 versions of a program then youre obviously not spending the time on it to get it right. i don't condone the use of any maphacks but if your gonna use one get stings or mouspad's because you rarely hear about people getting banned using them. why defend a guy that obviously only does it for his own amusement he's not trying to help people. i mean cmon he wanted blizzard to give him money to make him stop making hacks and i'm sure he got laughed at because they get paid lots of money to destroy programs like netters.

As of now, all of Jan's released maphacks are tested. I can't speak for his past actions. (I most certainly do though remember a time when mousepad's maphack got some people banned... Weird how you don't hear people still bitching about that...)

As of now, Jan's mh is the longest running with 0 (verified) bans. If bans do occur b/c of it, I'm sure that the many other users who are active on Jan's site would also report bannings. It has also been confirmed on mousepad's site just the other day that the Warden module on nearly all of the realms (I think the only exceptions were east and Asia) has not been updated, so unless Blizzard has developed a magical new way to ban people without anyone (including mousepad) knowing, then I would say that you are most definately full of shit. Quit starting rumors which inevitably lead to wasteful threads full of flames. This (I find) is a good forum which is relatively free from such trash, don't ruin it.

i'm not starting rumors i'm reporting facts. i don't care how many new leaves he's turned over anyone that will put a keylogger in a program meant to help people and then scam thousands of people out of accounts needs to have large rocks thrown at them. and his little message to blizzard didn't didn't help him out alot either. ok so this latest version of easyplay has 0 reported bans big whoop its the first version to last as long as it has. i don't understand why people still stand up for the guy when he doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. and don't talk like you know the guy on a first name basis.

To be honest, lately I've become more and more anti-hack. I just made myself 180 on Europe's Druid ladder with a level 93 Druid, but I can imagine that once d2jsp comes out, the ladder will be full of high levels again. With no effort whatsoever. Use maphack for Your darn mf or whatever, but not for else. Or better don't take the risks and don't use it at all.

What he has done in the past has absolutely nothing to do with the effectiveness of his current programs - so quit trying to hide behind your generic "netter is teh evil" accusations.

Big whoop? Lol, pull your head out of your ass. If the situation were in reverse, and Jan would have a tempfix and mouse would have the longest standing mh, you would be all over that shit - it would be your main argument - rightfully so. If your just going to play devils advocate, go play in the road, your opinions are worthless.

I use "Jan" as opposed to "Netter" simply out of personal preference. I'm sure that if he felt that I was in the wrong for this that he (and not you) would tell me to stop. He doesn't seem to have a problem with it when I do talk to him though, so quit making assumptions about things which aren't even important and that you don't know about.

It's true that EVERY maphack can and will (should blizzard put in the effort) be detected - thus, new versions. Explain to me exactly how this particular mh is going to get everyone banned please? It's been explained time and time over again the programs antidetection (some of it at least ). IF you with all of your programming experience/knowlege can explain exactly how it will be banned, be my guest. If not, then you are just regurgitating what everyone else has said...

And Frater (I hope I spelled that right, I just glanced at the name ), I agree with you. Anymore I only use mh to mf and rush. I guess I'll use it for baal runs too though - most of the time I'll make a hell baal game, tele to throne and while everyone is getting their exp I go mf, it works out quite nicely

i don't have programming expirience or knowledge, what i have is common sense. the programmers at blizzard get PAID to beat ALL maphacks do you think they dont' know whats going on? its like this every time and not just with netter's maphacks others have been banned too as soon as they update warden. it doesnt' matter what kind of anti-detection anyone uses blizzard will beat it. the arguement here is the last time netter let people get comfy using his hacks he took advantage of them and stole thousands of accounts. he does this for his own amusement not to better the game for everyone. if your gonna use a maphack use one thats not created by a known scammer because once again he can claim to be changed but that doesn't make it true. all criminals that go to jail claim to find god and be changed men and as soon as they're back out its back to their old ways. so bottom line if your stupid enough to fall for his bullshit again YOU should go play in the road because your obviously too blind to find the crosswalk.

-If YOU don't want to use Jan's mh becuase YOU are scared he might scam everyone, then don't use it. Because you have ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF that he has done ANYTHING wrong in the sence of loggers etc, all of your claims are just opinions - but you're just here to report the facts I thought? And as far as using a "safe" mh, which am I to use? Should I use the little known mh that has nearly 0 antidetection (Mouse at least is of this opinion), or should I use a "temporary fix"(cough..pos..cough) for the well known mh? The_Klaggel2: Thanks for taking the time and effort to put forward your opinion and taking the time to explain your viewpoint. I have no problem at all with you (or anyone else) addressing me with my first name. I think it adds a personal flavor, rather than using some pseudo-nick (aka netter).

I believe EasyPlay is one of the most effecient and straight-forward maphacks that have been created for Diablo II and its quality speak for itself. All you need to do is look at the many thousand downloads and users. It is my little "fun project" aside university, and I won't stop working on it (free version included, of course). I think it's an outrage that people who have contributed nothing (and KNOW nothing on the technical subjects) run around bitching about me - or think they can judge my programming skills. These people are more like "stool-pigeons" repeating the rumors and propaganda they've heard from other people. This kind of behaviour is dying out though, as people are realising that it's nothing but hot air, slowly but surely. I'm happy about that.

Anyway, just my two cents. This thread has no meaning anyway, and will not change the inevitable.

IMO, I really dont care about people's past (Jan did this almost or over 2 years ago) Why do people think they know Jan when they really dont, Deadlly-Guy, I bet you heard about Jan's keylooging from people online. What you need to do is stop acusing, and look on Battle.net forums and see if Jan's mh got anyone banned. So far, the kid who made this post, downloaded an older version of Easyplay/Easymap, plus, I think Blizzard is trying hard to clear what there so called "Warden" did (scanning our computers). I doubt the're going to be updating Warden any time soon. When I was playing back when Jan was keylogging people, I really didn't care, It's Just A Game!, don't any of you understand that?

Well, for me, I don't think so...I think blizz recognized that the hackers (sting f.e.) will always be smarter than they are...if they would have a working anti-detection, I would be banned at this moment, too....

I think, it's very hard to decide if he is guilty that 40k ppl got banned by his mh, or it was they're own stupidity...I mean, as he said, it's his "fun-projec" beside the university - b/c of that I think he can't take that much time to make a real good mh. As I heard, there have been NO BANS with EASYPLAY at the moment - right, ladys and gentlemen, I am talking about EASYPLAY NOT EASYMAP.
