yes and if ne1 got banned from it, its probably cause the defaults settigns are bubbled for install plugin. To ahve teh lastest security of stings, hers what u should do:

1.) Delete file d2maphack.dll
2.) Go to Options and under Reveal Act, check autoload without iscan

then u should be fine

what will deleting file d2maphack.dll do? just woundering. And where is this file located. And also what does deleting this file do?

I used to do the autoload without iscan. But now i just alt=tab and hit the reveal map each time does that make a difference?

hm hm.. if i could see the socets.. monster on the map... no darkness... different colors 4 items.. other player equipment.. then i was using the "detectable" d2hackmap.dll??confused: anyway if so then i used it with the default settings for over a month without being detected and im still not. So for safe play i should not use these features?

you want auto reveal without iscan. that way it loads map each act without you haveing to alt-tab.

I been using stings for a good while now and not only in one Diablo II window too. So no I have not been banned.

Yes, but what is the difference between, with Iscan and without Iscan. And what does the Iscan do?

It scans for any Running Bnet Modules (like warden), I believe.

u didnt answer my question.. was the "detectable" d2maphack.dll used when i could see monsters on map;my+mercs mf;other players equipment....? and why wasnt i banned then poor safety measures for europe??

yes, you probably used the detectable d2hackmap.dll, and you was lucky. Im not sure

he most likley used the plug in feature thats how you can see everything. Well actually my friend could see alot of stuff with just reveal but i am not sure what buttons he had to use.

ok well I use auto reveal without iscan there is no option to have auto reveal with iscan anyway I have been using it that way for 4months.

if u use it correctly, u wont get banned. Many people click on INTALL PLUGIN but they are stupid. They suppose to click on REVEAL ACT.

if you only use the reveal act, everything should be fine. i think that it is undetectable because warden scans your running processes and open files on your computer and sting's runs in a blank notepad page.....i have heard of one person getting banned using sting's but they were also using D2 Loader and that's what got them banned. Sting's is safe...i've been using it since it first came out, right after the mass ban, and NO BAN!
