sorry for being a **** but...wat r mods??? i really need to know this coz u guys r talkin sum good game editing here, and i wanna get in it too! r mods those complicated .txt files that u can open with d2excel and they make sense??? and if they r those things, how can u do such complicated things with mods?!?! i tried to make it so that the max skill lvl for blizzard isnt 20 and in the game it was white(that means u can still upgrade it) but wen i click nothin happens....basically wat im asking is, wat is a mod? and where can i know more bout wat mods really r??!?!

A mod is just a modification, something that changes the game. Mods can NOT be run on closed, just open and single. If you need more information, ask someone else here. o_0

but i think sum mods can be run on closed bnet, like left click skill and weather and simple stuff like that...

Left click skill is a hack, not a mod. And I've never heard of any weather mods or anything. But hell, what do I know, I haven't played D2 in like 6 months.

spelling aside, left click skill is indeed a mod, just edited skills.txt thats all. to get into modding and such, phrozen keep has some good tutorials and guides and everything, and d2maniacs is a private realm for like 15 of the best mods out there (currently gaming eastern sun 3.00 NHJ after i got hacked by a dumbass who takes skullders but not grief) and if you r need a website, use r google, it will r be the first r site listed r.
