Eth uniques?

can any unique be eth or only certain ones. cause that'd be aweosme to have uniques that are eth but already indestructable. Or have like an eth gf or ss.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that an item that is indestructable has a chance to be eth when dropped. Items that replenish (Titans) or have the repair dur. mod (G-Rft) can be eth - I know cuz I have them both on ladder.

Dude, if you find an eth Ginters Rift, upgrade it!!! Ginters has durability, but if you upgrade it, it becomes pb, and pb's don't have durability...always wondered if that is possible....

ss can be eth? do u have a photo of it that u could show us cuz i don't remember ss being able to have eth atribute.

there is a weapon called Etheral Edge that is always eth and has indistructable mod (has around 2xx-4xx dmg)

yes this is possible but only on certain items, and no an ss can't be eth

I once saw an eth leviathan, everyone says it is impossible but i swear it was. Could it of been a hacked item? Just curious if levi can be eth.

yeah i was wondering because i never saw any eth uniques but i was thinking how awesome it would be to have something like an eth ss or gf or something. Btw, does anyone know how much the stats change on an item thats eth compared to an item thats not( like how much more dmg a collosus blade does from an eth collosus blade) i always wonder when i find an eth armor if its good defense but i dont know the stats it could range from.

no.. Uniques that are already indestructable cannot be eth... (with the exception of ethereal-edge axe)

Arreat Summit to the rescue, as always:

Ethereal
Most types of armor or weapon, even one with magical properties, can be Ethereal. Bows and Crossbows cannot be Ethereal. These items appear translucent in the Inventory, and when equipped, they appear translucent on the character wielding them. Their ethereal nature gives them an improved fundamental ability. However, they have decreased Durability and cannot be repaired. You can place Zod Runes (Indestructible) in some Ethereal Items to prevent them from being destroyed. Ethereal Items do not lose Durability on Hirelings. Magic, Rare, and Unique Items can be Ethereal but you cannot get Ethereal Items when Imbuing.
- Weapons: +50% base damage.
- Armors: +50% base defense
Broken Ethereal Items sell for 1 Gold. Items that spawn as indestructible can not be ethereal at the same time. Hence, most elite unique items that are indestructable will never become ethereal.

Re: uping eth uniques. I just uped my merc's eth duriel's and it now has about 2200 def. Seems like pretty godly merc armor. An eth fort would do more for his damage, but wouldn't have as much res or life. PS - Also found an eth Steel Veil for him with about 530 def.laugh: I'll try and up my eth g-rift and get back to you.

UPING ETH DIMENSIONAL BLADE (rare or unique) Becomes an ETHREAL PHASE BLADE and is INDESTRUCTIBLE. this is the ONLY way of having an Eth PB. thats why rare eth crystalswords/dimensionals are worth picking up and checking for 500 ed

and like said earlier, uniques with indestructible mod cannot be ethreal, except if they are ALWAYS ETHREAL (E.G. ethreal edge, shitty item too)

My merc uses eGiant Skull and eStone, he kicks ass .
