dude its is a yellow star first then a red giant.. it loses stuff to beurn and expands while cooling off... a red giant is a star about to die.. do some research b4 posting.
is it just me or does every1 have a different time for saying when the big bang was

well how do we kno the exact time the big bang went off so there should be a whole lot of different times soo for all we kno it could have happend like 100 billion years ago or even longer

but how do you know where the starting point is

you find the direction in which every galaxy and nebula is moving from
when you drip a drop of water into a pond, does not a circular wave move away from the starting point?
when a bomb explodes, don't all the pieces fly away from the starting point?
imagine it in 3D with stars and planets

ok mr.KNO-IT-ALL
if we can pinpoint where the big bang occured then where?
more or less due to gravity how do you kno they are still moving there origonal course for all we kno it could have been lightyears away from where we think it was at?
answer me that DCM

i think the force of the big bang keeps all the galaxies and nebulas moving in a generally 0utward(stupid censor) direction. if gravity has such an effect as you have stated, then they would all stop getting further apart, and start coming back together in a ball. they call that the theory of the big crunch
as far as i know, scientists think that the universe is still expanding and might not stop. they theorize that dark matter contributes to this but i forgot what i read after that part
for the place of origin, i would have to say to look for the center of mass
and dont call me a know it all. you asked a question and i tried to answer it to the best of my knowledge. i dont even know why you're insulting me. im answering YOUR question. you should either thank me or look it up and tell me if im wrong

I'd like to see a page where the scientists explain their theories on Dark Matter... It almost makes sense, but it's very far-fetched and an altogether abstract idea. I'd like to see how they'd prove something like that exists.

they havent really. the only proof they have is their observation that the speed at which galaxies and nebulas are moving is actually increasing. they theorized that dark matter and energy fills in what we call empty space.
the only reason that they believe it is there is because the math says that something is there. it's a variable that they havent found yet

Theres life out there... If there weren't would we really have area 51?
And it DOES exsist people.
But i mean the Government is hiding everything so we don't get scared. If you think about it now, since the government is keeping this all secretive people are becoming MORE afraid. Really, though if the government had of done nothing no one would be afraid right now because we'd be used to it and this earth would probably be alot more futureistic.

yes the big bang is how the universe was created. our solar system/galaxy(i'll fix tomorrow when i go back to school lol) was created by a big cloud. Everything pulled eachother together from gravity and created a giant cloud. then it grew denser and started spinning and eventually turned into a disk with 95% of all matter in the middle. the all the large groups of matter away fromt he sun turned form disks into spherical shapes. then like 5billion years ago the sun became hot enough to have nuclear fusion inside it and created lots of heat/light. then it swpet away all lght matter inbetween the planets/sun. exept from planets away from the sun(outer planets) it couldn't sweep away most of the lighter gases and thats why they're gas planets. and idk how earth got lucky but yeah life popped up here and now here we are playing diablo.
oh and by the way, if people were going to travel through space, wouldn't a lot of it be absoulute zero. or in other words 0degrees kalvin or -232celcious or farenheit(i forget). since isn't heat created from matter moving so when theres nothing(like in a vacuum) theres no matter moving so its abosoute zero. btw, for people whp dont know absolute zero is the coldest it can ever possibly get.

i hav a question, could a planet support life without air/water? i mean there must be something that can live without both. maybe just not on this planet.

Yes it probably could, maybe 44354345340978 miles away, some planet has some super inteligent being and can live on dirt. No it couldn't because you have to have water to form or something like that. (I don't know much about astronamy bare with me)

shift this is space for all we know there could be life in space for all we kno , its soo vast and we know less than like 5% of our own galaxy. so i'd say that its a possability.
