@ Darkstar - that's not a flat screen monitor dumbass... And why do you have two keyboards???
@ Tool - it's impossible to compare temps. I guarantee you that none of the thermisters on processors are accurate. The only way to get the real temp is to use a digital thermometer. And it's not overkill when you're overclocking. AND I don't see why you need to insult my computer because YOU feel that LED's are gay. It's a gaming machine. The point is to draw attention to it. Best way to draw attention to something - light the ****er up like a christmas tree. Also I agree that AMD is better than Intel, but on those pictures comparing the speeds... The motherboards and memory are all different, so obviously they are going to perform differently. To be accurate, you need to compare by using the same board, memory, etc. By the way, the "refridgerator" cooling is called phase change. Basically it is a refridgerator, but the evaporater is custom-made to fit on top of the processor. I'm building one. I just need a vacuum pump, an evap, and some insulation.

That graphics card is still kinda bleh. Should've gone with at least the x1300 if you're going ATI.

well i decided to go for broke and spend most of this semesters left over tuition money on a comp. i just ordered it and i should get it in like 2-4 days.
i went for the power mac tower because it works great with all the video editing and 3d rendering im doing right now. well and probably for a long time too. 2.5Ghz quad-core powerPC g5, 2gb 533 ddr, 250gb hard drive, NVIDIA geforce 7800 gt 256 . it was way to much but i can use it all i guess for rendering those lightwave .MOV files ive been having to wait so long to render. my last 20 second clip took close to 12 hours. this shoudl increase it like 20 fold since my current pc is a pile, and my little macbook cant handle it either. should be a good investment on my part and the best thing is the good ol US Government is paying for it via my Navy college fund. when i was down at comp usa today the Mac rep was showing me the duel core. he had like 50 quicktime movies running at the same time . 50.. thats insane. i asked him how much of a diference the quad-core would make over the duel-core and he said it would double it if not more so. im not so sure about it doubling it or more so but it should be more power than i will need for a good year or so. im sure you all are like.. EWW A MAC.. lol. i used to be like that too but they seem to work so much better for me for the gfx stuff i do at school that i had to have one. now you can even upgrade them all by yourself. although it voids the waranty lol. well thats it i guess. enough of my endless rambling.

Ack, whats with all the high end comps running 17 inch monitors?
Just bite the bullet and get a 21. Get yerself a compusa/bestbuy/circuit city card and make some payments, you'll thank yourself.
