Ok, heres my plan.
When your in a game, make sure yits passworded and 2 players are in it. Trade the item you want to dupe, hilt Alt + F4, I know you think I'm crazy, but listen, before you hit alt + f4, go to C:\program files\diablo ii\save
and then look for your character, open your character with NotePad, WordPad, or anything you can type with, hit Ctrl + A and then Ctrl + C about 2 times, now, close it, and dont save it, go in your game, hit alt + f4, after you dropped the item, now, go to your character again in C:\program files\diablo ii\save and hit Ctrl + A and Ctrl + V only once, now go back in the game, and it should do it, I think you have to open every file of your character and open about 5 notepads or wordpads though, and then do the thing with the Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C, and then Ctrl + V in the notedpad or wordpad, anyways, ya, thats my plan, please tell me if I did anything wrong, but BE SURE to backup your character first, also, go to C:\program files\diablo ii\save\ur realm
instead of C:\program files\diablo ii\save
Also, I'm making a new website and im trying to make it like this one, thanks anyways. Bye!

Why don't you try it first to make sure it works?

I dont think this will work because your closed realm chars are saved on bnet severs, not your computer. Whats on your comp is just an image of your char.

that is the maps of each game. just delete them to gain space. in fact you can delete the entire realm folders. like i said closed chars are not saved on your computer.

well only way to dupe is to reroll meaning u lag the game up so it doesnt save so
first u give an item to another person so it saves on him and then u try to lag the gamae up so it doesnt save so u get the item back even tho u alrdy gave it to some1 else b4 creating the lag.
basically, its called dupe methods, lag the game up so bad it doesnt save so it REROLLS 5 mins back in time or something

Correction. your characters are infact saved on Bnet. Bnet saves your character On the server and your computer. For this reason incase a lag spike occurs or a power outage at the server happens, they load the info saved on your computer as backup. Problem is your file is saved about ever 8min I think thats the center point.

the files in save/ are just offline/open bnet chars

smartass2 I aggree with siris, If it were that easy to dupe just by going into your "saved files" then millions of d2/computer wiz's would of already found that out,

mhm doesnt even make sence that incase of w.e reason it would be they would load the char from your computer. I mean you dont even need to fire up the old brain to figure out why that makes no sence. open b.net and single player sure why not. You know how many people there are out there right now that would be working on a way to create a thunderstorm considering its probley easier.
