because the human mind is an insanely powerful thing. Once you've seen something, and you see something that looks even the slightest bit like it, you get the deja-vu feeling, and after that its a matter of time and/or luck for your brain to unconsciously go through everything that looks like it and finally find the answer.
u know like, you see something and ur like "Damn im sure ive seen that elsewhere" and 10 hours later u go "OMG I REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS!" and everyone looks at u and is like "wtf u talkin about?"

Also Pam, it's a pretty famous picture of the guy, most halflife players can recognize the coloration of the "suit".

I love me some half life... And that is gordon... I could never beat any of the HL1 series except for Blue Shift... Nihilanth was hard and the boss at the end of opposing force is incredibly hard also.
