Blizz is really effective, cheap. You guys aren't really being helpful to the author of the thread. I can tell by his ways of explaining his situation he doesn't have a whole lot of stuff to trade and has much less items to work with. Telling him to use CoH on a merc or make a MF lite sorc w/ infinity is absurd. There's no way.


A blizzard sorceress can do many things. All you need is a good mf% and a merc with shaftstop, gaze, and bonehew. I would put amn and shael in my bonehew. I have many times; I used a 320% eth bonehew before I got an eth doom. They will not die(except maybe rarely andy and meph) doing what you will do: Andy, meph, pindle, eldrich, summoner, countess.

Blizzard does lots of raw damage and lowers resist a lot more due to cold mastery. Max cold mastery, especially if you're PvM/don't have an infinity. Hell, even if you're PvP and have an infinity I would max it. -25x% cold res is much better than 1k more raw damage IMHO.

Key to this sorc is to have a tank (be it energy shield or a merc) and to be very powerful. Tele directly to the bosses, let the merc do his thing and keep them away from you, and blizz/glacial spike constantly. Every boss will be relatively easy except possibly the Countess. The key with her is to isolate the little group of the Countess and her unique buddies, static them to half health, and let your merc (who should be packing atleast 3k per hit) slowly kill them all. It takes maybe 20 seconds, but he does it easily.

Summoner is not immune to cold.
Mephisto is definitely not immune to cold.
Andy isn't cold immune.
Pindle is random, but a good merc can tank/kill him before he kills the merc.
And if I remember correct, Eld may be cold immune, but as with the countess, it owuld be fairly easy to isolate him/her/it/that thang, static them, and let your merc go to town.


Between those five, each one has a real possibility to drop uniques with a good mf%. Two can drop keys which are in demand right now. All will exp you very well. Most can be done in public games with a blizzard sorc.

Blizz sorc is a poor MFers best friend.
