Ugh, well i've been hankerin for some good ol'e single player starcraft bashing, I haven't played it for quite some time and i lost the cd key. I have the non expansion cd key but i don't have an expansion key, does anyone know how i can install starcraft without the cd key please, i really want to play! if you could help me i would REALLY appreciate it.

Try filling the whole cd-key field with 1s

Why would that work?

Anyway, I will give you the same solution I give people looking to get Diablo II keys.

Find a store that offers cash back on returned items. Buy the Starcraft Battle Chest (whatever it is called, I don't play SC), jot down the CD keys and return the item to the stores for your cash back. Gotta love playing the system Big Grin

Hmm, aparantly you dont need a expansion cd key to play it, oh well i got it up and running, thanks anyway guys.

There is no CD-Key for the Brood War expansion for SC. Just a key for the original SC. It's not like D2.
