fballer in classic

Im making an fballer in classic diablo. Any suggestions of how i should manage skill points and what items i should use?

Please shut up with your crap. No one makes a es sorcs in classic (except for noobs) cos mana is very low most of the time anyway and it's really easy to get max block since block doesn't depend on dexterity. If a shield shows that it gives 40% block that's how much you'll get.

it's okay freedom don't mind him guess he just having a period or something...anyways in classic...god it's been so long since I played..but meh I guess the stuff to get would be well man I wish I remembered what items where in classic just yell at me if I'm wrong..better yet I'm not gonna even try I can't remember anything back in classic...but I do know some of the skill points.

Alright basically theres a few things you can do. Obviously Fireball has no cast delay so a shiz load of FCR is a good idea..now in hell lots of fire immunes so its pretty gay there but meh. You can always go meteorb or something probably fire ball/orb would be a better idea if you went duel tree..there is a guide up top with the Ice/fire duel tree.

Pure Fb I am more knowledge able about.

Obviously your gonna want 1 in warmth regardless of your gear. Since it can get the +to all skills it's a must for any sorc really..

Max all of Fire ball's Synergies and fire ball itself

Next put 1 in some of the sheilds you need or want...First frozen armor..good +to armor so it is wonderful to have since sorcs generally have little.
1into Tele of course cuz we all like that hmm =)
1 into static (optional but it really helps with bosses)
and heres the big question...Energy sheild..
Some say its too good to pass up but others wouldn't dare put a skill point in energy sheild...heres pretty much the good and bad of energy sheild.

Alright well first it helps you live longer but it also drains something that you need a lot of...mana. Couple good boss hits and your mana's all gone and hopefully you can regain it back with pots. Other bad side is that it takes lots of extra skill points to get..I think 4 including the sheild itself...so the choice is yours but generally I don't use it because I would rather take mana over loosing it and living longer...since after all you do need mana to live as a sorc...but meh your choice.

Other thing you should put points into is fire mastery...you can never beat adding damage to fire skills..quite wonderful really...Other than that I can't think of anything else you could spend skills on maybe put a few more in frozen armor or w/e but other than that you should be set..I can't remember the exact damage you can achieve with a classic fireball sorc but I know it was pretty good either way.
