add the driver for the router put the driver first before connectiong. add an exception to your current software. and open a few ports. ports like 4000, 6112-6119, 3791-3795. 4000 is used for internet and gaming. 6112-6119 is diablo 2 and blizzard games. 3791-3795 is the other common addresses used.

If I know the model, I can help you out... what is your ISP (internet provider) and what kind of service is it (dial-up, DSL, ADSL, cable). I can help you, but I need more information = )

Flip over to the bottom of your DLink, look after the H\W Ver .:???
Tell me what it says where I put the ??? (It will be A1, C1 or E1)...
Also, go to your router settings (192.168.0.1, enter name\pass) and go to Tools - Firmware and tell me what version of the firmware you are using

Ok, at least if you had given me a model I could have done some research and seen if it was a firmware issue or some other common issue.
I hope things work out for you, reply here if they do not and I will be happy to help you out.
