Attention all of you. Another major issue has been brought up and you get to decide its outcome. Rain, the liquid drops of precipitation which falls through nimbus,cumulus...etc is the first contestant. Weighing in at about .50 grams these little droplets pack quite a punch. Rain falls on every continent and can fall in temperatures ranging from 32degrees and above (with some wacky acceptions). These slippery pests can leave floods measuring 20ft high that will quickly sweep away anything in their paths. Recreation would include mudsliding, swimming or boating in the flooded water, and natural wet t-shirt contests (for all of you fellows out there )Then, ladies and gentlemen, we have our second contestant. Weighing in at .75grams, and about .006m high, we have the snow flake. These crystalized versions of precipitation create hazard for any driver on the roads, back aches for all of you shovelers, and collapsed roofs for all you homeowners. Recreation includes skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile races, and of course Snowball Fights!!!
Well now it is time to decide. What do you like more, rain or snow?
P.S. I personally enjoy snow more because of school delays or closings, snowball fights FLAT OUT RULE, and it provides much better scenery then the damp, muggy, and uninteresting leftovers of a Rainstorm. But don't let me intrude on your opinion, because its time to decide.

I cant decide. Snow does look better for scenery, but nothing can compare with the subtle sounds of raindrops falling on the plants outside my house. This is usually captivating during the hot summer rains... so pleasant...
Can ya tell I'm a fan of rivers and waterfalls?

Well if you were to match it against frozen waterfalls and ice fishing, then what would you choose?

Waterworld Water Park? Frozen waterfall would make for a really nice water slide.
I chose rain.
Although without snow, rivers + waterfalls wouldnt exist. So I stay undecided.

Nublitoria, take a trip to the Congo or Amazon River and tell me that snow was responsible for their creations.

everything is connected together in the water cycle. snow WAS partly responsible in both the creation of the Congo and the Amazon because the same rain that fell there and was evaporated may be snowing in USA, then that same stuff that WAS snow turned back into rain and fell upon the pirihanta-infested waters of the Amazon. everything follows in a circle, which connects to our lives and inner souls redeeming themselves in an elliptical pattern. we are all connected........

Dang, I didn't think it ever snowed in Australia. Do you guys have any mountains or was it just dumb luck to fall on the flat land?

There are a hell of alot of mountains.... The snow fields are actaully quite good about an hour away from where I live, they had a fair amount of snow lately. The country goes from one extreme to the other... Dead flat desert, bush, Mountains, Snowy Mountains, Tropics... Its wierd to drive from the bottom of Aus to the Top Takes a few days but *rolls eyes*

Now thats one Continent I've always wanted to visit. But tell me, is it easy to get around without speaking the Australian version of English. I saw an episode of The Simpsons and when I heard some of the slang used, it was hard to keep up

New Zealand seems like a nice place to live. Tropical, warm, less crowded than Hawaii... all ya really need is a beach, lots of sand, yourself, a big chair, a sunset, and a corona and your all set. follow the commercials =P

Really, I was thinking soccer, cricket, or rugby. I went to summer camp and my Australian counselors loved those 3 sports more than anything.
