No. What I am trying to say is that being straight edge is not something most people, especially children and drunken immature xDBDs on the internets, cannot be discussed in a respectful manner. It always leads to flames and it totally ruins the thread. If you note, my first post was serious in some ways, but afterwards people started bashing.

Why even try? I've been through this on EF and I think here once or twice before. It never stays nice and civilized so I have lots of fun in them.


The old hippie/sXe kid thing was me just being a ****. Old hippies are so accepting and nice. I think that's a fact. It seems like everyone here is either sXe or against sXe in some way. Old hippies would not be. They would be like "oh yah let's discuss this as I smoke a joint" and be totally accepting to your values even though they hold none of them.

I really am drunk though. I love the internets.

I would not bash sXe if they managed to come up with some credible arguements. I guess that it's fine if you say that people don't want to have sex because they want to save their virginities for "that special person". Fine by me, be a virgin until you're 40, or marry when you're 20. Both sound like shit solutions to me.

If you say that you don't want to have sex because it's unsafe and bad for you, then I will bash the person, because that's one of the dumbest things ever.

Also, find it strange how people say that they want to be sXe, so that they will keep themselves in good health and live ~5 years more than us. Now, I consider that there are 2 kinds of lives. Your first life is the typical sXe monk-like existance in which you like to be, let's say 80.

The 2nd one is if you party, have fun, drink, do drugs, ****, up to the point in which it will not affect you health or career in a serious way. Maybe you'll live to be 75 years old, instead of reaching 80. On the other hand, the 2nd person has enjoyed his life so much more, not because partying is something that everyone has to do, but he has kept his existanced varied. He's not like another one of those pontless human beings that you see each day. Leave a legacy, be remembered.

Im all for leaving a legacy. I just don't think that you have to get drunk, do drugs, and **** as many people as you can to do it. Use what you have, write a book or something. Just dont get caught in the stigma that so many others have.

And yes there are alot of people out there that are boring, and need to get lives. And need to get a social life. Im all down for partying, and leaving a varied existance. I just don't think that you have to use drugs or alcohol to do it.

I'm all for doing as many things in my life as I can, without them having a negative effect on my existance. For example, if I go and get drunk with my friends, I am having fun, but I'm not exactly "ruining my life oh noes".

That's what pisses me off about sXe kids. They have that "i'm holier than thou" type attitude. Even if it was the end of the world and this kid totally ruined his life, really at the end of the day it's none of your business and you're no one to judge.
