I set the config up correctly and when it starts it selects the right character but when it goes to make the games it cancels it before it can even join then it goes back to character select and chooses char 1 (suppose to be char 5) and makes a game and stays in the game then it proceeds to drink all my potions

Has this happened to anyone else?

You need to be in Window mode with the res800 effect. Take your Diablo II shortcut, and at the end of the target box add a space and put -w -res800.
