ZoneFire Hero Editor problem

I am using the hero editor with version 1.10 of LOD. I have tried both 0.95 and 0.96 but they give me the same problems

Trying to process Item 'Lesser Healing Potion', Type Code = 'hp1 ', with unknown format.
This item will be deleted from character inventory.

This item will be deleted from character inventory.

Trying to process Item 'Unknown', Type Code = '(1 byte glibberish)

...

Something is wrong! I have run out of data to analyze!
I will just try to continue anyways, but the character file may be bad??

All my charecters loads find in D2 but none of them loads in the hero editor. Any help is appreciated blank:

Did you find the items using a mod? If yes, then i dont think Hero Editor can process items from other mods, just regular Diablo II items

No other mods are installed. What I have is totally standard D2 + LOD.

The funny thing is, if I copy the hero editor and the exact same save files to another computer, the hero editor works there.
