The characters will be deleted since blizzard always reminds the users not to use hacked items or programs, they get whats comming to them.

Mabie even the accounts in the extreme.

Blizzard has never deleted any accounts/characters due to bugged items. They will probably just delete the items, as with what they did with the bugged sojs and the dupescanner.

As for using 3rd party programs however, such as bots, or sending invalid packets (i.e. chest hack), they don't bother with deleting your characters. They just ban the entire account.

They rarely ban cd-keys as well. Blizzard is very touchy about that. They would rather delete all accounts connected to a certain cd-key and IP address than ban a cd-key. They'll probably just do that if they have proof of you doing big-time hacking, or hacking without knowing what you're doing, wreaking havoc, like most people doing DoS(Denial of Service) attacks.

Well, they have never done that over a simple thing such as bugged items. I mean, anyone can reason out that they didn't know it was bugged. And they always just simply delete the items because doing so is much simpler and easier algorithm-wise, than searching for every character that had one and deleting the char.

But seeing the last April fool-ishness they did, I suggest that you don't take my word for it though. We never know what they may do next. :confused:

I'm not sure, but I think iths will be fixed in 1.10, so you can't make iths anymore.

And how are you making an ith maker? c++? If you need any help just pm me. I have made several (useless) modules, so I have some knowledge that may help.

Some c++ stuff.
Plus I know which packets they banned/patched.
Like the one in the trade screen (they patched a LOT there).
And what can get you banned (like the "place staff in orifice" packet).

Also I know some glitches (like bugging the ground, inventory, and cursor buffers), several item locking methods. And I also understand completely how the matrix methods all worked (the ith making,duping, and tradehacking parts mostly).

I dunno if packet knowledge might still help in 1.10 though. If Blizzard patches against stuff like d2hackit and packet senders, I'll be back at square one as with almost all people out there.
