Best place to mf...Well depends on what item's your looking for, and what the majority of people finding in certain area's. People find godly socketed white items in pit's, and gg uniques, Andy drops unique jewelery here and there, Meph drops good uniques from time to time, like facet's , arachs, etc, Diablo drop's same as well, Pindle can drop ANY item in the game, Eldritch and Shenk are nice for gc's and certain uniques as well, close to kill and easy to find, and for baal, also can drop any item in the game, but has higher chance of Skill grand charm's of having +40 life. That's just my 2 cent's on people's past experiences.

Is that true that pindle can drop anything. Most of the time he drops crap. The only good thing I got from him was a 5/4 light die Facet.

My normal MF game consists of the following:
Countess
The Pit: Level II
Andariel
Mephisto
Shenk
I enjoy this run, takes less than 8 minutes to do with my hammerdin and there is decent drops.

I can't remember the site, but I recall seeing a VERY well written essay about MF in Diablo, and the concept of ilvl overkill.
Baal is ilvl overkill. With more chances to drop lower level items than any other creature, baal is a poor choice if you're not hunting for a particular 3 or 4 items.
Otherwise Pindle and Meph and, yes, the pit, are ideal ilvls.
It turns out NM pit might be more rewarding than hell due to some ilvl math. I might not remember right, though.

I'm pretty sure you're the one who wrote the drop hack guide.....
My mf sorc (former mf sorc) had a 6x ist pb, 4xist monarch, p topaz shako, gheeds, tons of 6-7 mf charms, tals armor p topaz, tals ammy and belt, 2x perfect nagels......Tons of mf doesn't guarantee anything. Best I found were a couple occy's and some tals arm, found a Lo rune but that isn't magic.....

kyle, an occy hoz and crap ring dropping are not that unbelieveable from trav, there are like 5 bosses there.

Yes, but in his mod guide, he stated that he has found several HOZ's and occy's thusly leading me to beleive that his picture is real, barely. I have found arachs and maras and stuff but not after a looooong while, and certainly not together.....

i'm sure he doesnt find items EVERY RUN. he just ss's the ones that are good. for all we know he does 1000 runs and those 3 or 4 are all that dropped.

The Pit has given me a Jalal's, a Cerebus Bite, a Hellrack, a Gull Dagger and some nice rare sorcy circlets all this week. Also got a 19 lite Eschuta's on the River of Flames from a stash. All this from my 94 ama with about 215% mf.

Yeah If I could choose one it would be meph. But usually have to do more than 1, especially with temp bans if you go too fast.
My Mf runs are Meph,Andy, then I do key runs. Baal takes too long, and pindle you can only get to if you haven't killed nihalthak.
