Hip hop and rap I can respect a bit, it's the gangster rappers I have no respect for, for the most part. It's not cause they talk about drugs and all that, hell the song I'm listening to right now is Mushroomhead - World of the LSD user, it's because they don't care about music or art. They care about the big fat check the recieve once their album is on the charts. What do you think the "bling bling" is for? It's so we know they're making more money than us although they have a 4th grade education. All the comercials they do, and unfortunately Run DMC (Whom I like) did a few comercials, all the Fubu they wear. They get royalties off promoting these things and the public is so stupid that they wear it because of who endorses it and not the quality of the product. It's sad. And I refer to that kind of musician as a ***** musician.

Personally, I prefer punk or metal or something. I dont really understand rap. All they talk about is sex hoes and dissing other people. I agree Eminem is the only one I would listen to and for the same reason, hes funny. I really don't see how its so cool talking about how they had sex. Everybody has sex they make it sound like they are cool cause they get it. I mean even 13 year olds and 12 year olds have sex. Christ i mean thats all they sing about. Punk and Emo and stuff actually sing about different stuff. Alot of them actually mean something (the songs) and if people just sit there saying that and metal is just screaming with no talent and they are premature I suggest you actually figure out what the song means before you Judge it. When i was around 7-8 I liked rap because I didnt know what half the stuff was. Now when I actually listen to it its actually pretty gay. Just my opinion not goingto get in some big arguement over it.:eek:

I personally like rap+RnB.

I think rap has a nice tune and often has good singers in the chorus and RnB is just good singin. Whereas Metal and punk is just some stooge *****tards who havent matured, run around on stage in underwear, can only yell into a mic, salute satan (see ozzy osbourne + marylin manson etc..) and have stoopid haircuts.

Althought I do like the guitar specially the peppers + jack johnson.
