Temp restriction lasting too long?
#1
I've had many of these and while I came home from school today to see what my pindle bot rounded up it was on time out so I knew it was going to be just another 10 minutes wait. However, it has been doing this for about 9 hours now. Any advice or comments? This is the longest TEMPORARY ban Ive seen..

Its a 5 Count Rule , Just like if you make 20-25 games in a hour you will get a Perm ban. Now if you get Tem Banned 5 times in 5 hours you get exstened banned. This is a Longer WAit. Trust me Conf your bot to delay when making games So it only makes 15-19 games per hour

All you have to do to get around the ban is change your ip
It doesnt do much good for your bot but if you got mules that are going to expire its a big help. With dial up just disconnect and reconnect with cable its a little more complicated but if you guys wanna know how just lemme know

Note this will not work if you got a router hooked up I think.
ok guys to do this you-

first go to start>run then type in "cmd"

In the command prompt type in "ipconfig/release"

Go to control panel>network connections
and in the general tab in that drop down box highlight internet protocol (tcp/ip) then click properties

click the "use the following ip address"thing and just enter numbers that appear like an ip then click ok and ok on the other window.

then open it back up and go to the same window and click the "obtain ip address automatically" and click ok on both windows again.

then in the cmd prompt type "ipconfig/renew"

and bam your temp ban should be gone.

I try. BTW it should be same for dsl. I tried it with a router but it wouldnt work. If you guys get ip banned with a router just hook your modem straight into your comp and then do it. Should get you back on.

Your kind of ****ed if your wireless then unless u cary your pc to your modem or wait nvm vice versa carry your modem to your pc. But anyways wouldn't that just change your ip for a couple of minutes then when you go back to wireless the ip would change back?

I'm not totally sure. Cause you cant go in and configure your settings of your router.

I think I've done it once when I called my ISP about a problem I was having with my router if I remember correctly they made me type in my ip address then a username and password which led me to the router configurations.

It kind of seemes like a bad idea. If blizz temp banned you and you show up playing again thats kinda like flagging yourself as long as your not running stings or mm you should be fine tho

umm no?? if blizzard ip banned you, you do have the right to get a new IP or w/e battle.net/blizzard does not have control over this.

False , with my own create maphack with sting i make andi runs on nm in 20 seconds.
With creating and dropping stuff.. Lets say 1 total run , with join the game takes 30 seconds. i do then 2 andi runs in a minute.

2 * 60 = 120 andiruns in 1 hour, I dont get a ban

- Thanks jaenster
