Graphic Cards?

Hey i need help on selecting a new graphic card. A know a small bit on computer but not much. i have about 200bucks to spend

Edit- Now i know that i can only use PCI cards only. so can someone help pick out a good one if they even exist ne more




if you know anything about computers, please help me make a choice. No im not buying a graphic card for just 1 game like d2 or wow. I want to improve my all around gaming performance. Thanks in advance for your time

One 7950 GX2 would destroy that configuration. I'm working on building my second comp with a Geforce 8800. *drool*

Since Mushroomhead kicks ass I'll lend a hand. Only PCI? No AGP? How old is your computer? If you don't even have an AGP slot it's time to get a new comp man.

Anyway, this is the best card I can find Newegg.com - DIAMOND X1300PCI256SB Radeon X1300 Vista Ready Video Card - Retail there is a Visiontek ATI card a bit above this but the only advantage I can see is dual monitor support and it's $30 more AND doesn't include a mail-in-rebate.

To the others that responded to this thread...He said he only has PCI not PCI Express and if he can't use AGP he can't use any of those cards you guys suggested. Unless you meant PCI Express Mushroomhead then your options are very nice.

no i mean PCI only. No express, no agp. ihave a dimension 3000 which isnt ment for a gamin pc as u know and i've had it for about 3years which is long enough to declare it out of date. but I bought my dimension and tweaked it off the internet. aka. added 512ram, 80gb hd. 2.79GHz proccessor. but i look into ur choices. It sucks having only to pick from PCI only cards.

What game and what are the minimum requirements?

Never Winter nights 2 and the lowest i found for mine is Radeon X600

x600 is PCI Express...it was actually credited as the very first PCI Express card.

Also, NWN 2 isn't really worth all this trouble. So many bugs and just not nearly as good as the first.
