buying items

when buying items off the inthernet how do u get the items. and is it even worth buying items from internet?

Some sites feature Instant delievery. as soon as your payment has been received you will make a game and they will drop off the items to you. If they dont offer instant delievery then they will drop the items on a Mule account and give you the account information.
generally this takes longer depending on where you purchased the items

The only thing that matters if you think it's worth it. I have paid for items b4. I think it's worth it... you don't have to worry about it being duped for one thing ( well, that is, if it's a trusted site ). And it's not just about pixels. Some people don't have the time to go around looking and tradeing for items all day. It's about enhancing gameplay for yourself. I say if you want to spend 5 bucks on an item you just can't seem to get, then go for it....

Its up to you its exactly what tap says it is. I say go for it if you don't have the time but if you have the time then rather do it the old fashion way.

Not speaking of Diablos here but games in general. I like the old fashioned way. I somehow feel more like I earned it. I work hard for items I crave ,and also sponsor help for others that need items.I was "Mrs. Clause" this year, and ran a series of events to fill peoples *wish lists* It was a lot of fun and made many people happy.

Aww how nice of you Pam as always. Its true Pam preached correctly. In a game you usually want to earn it yourself. Anyone can buy perfect nigmas and gg griefz, buts its alot funner making em urself

yes there is one way, if you leave a game without perming, and join another game and the item is gone, you can be 100% sure it was duped, its a simple test really

Yep, that's about the only way you can tell if something is duped. Usually anything that's desirable, there is a good chance that it is duped. You can't really trust many people who are trading or buying perfect items when they tell you they are legit, your always taking a risk.

I do not bitch and moan in FFXI about Items.Let us get this clear. What I DO object to is that many RMTs *Real money traders*....have over run certain monsters to the point where an honest players have a hard time claiming or killing it. I have spoken with them and I will tell you how they operate,as many added me to their *Friends list* They only play the game to sell items for real money. Some are incredibly good players..others just suck. Most opperate in *shifts* so that several people play the same account...this allows them to be on 24/7 and it is always a different person.
Having played FFXI so long I am widely known and respected, and have taken the time to talk to these people in the game...who are very much hated and reviled by other players. We call them *Gill sellers* and most go out of their way to hurt them.
I have had plenty of them help me and be kind to me.....it boils down to respecting someone...not just if they choose to buy or sell gil.
