At first I thought this was a Math thread. Anyway, I voted Star Wars because to me they have always been more interesting and the story is easier to follow. Plus, the latest episodes are really good with effects, plot, story line, and showing the histories of people in older episodes.

the borg do not have large numbers of ships. they depend on the strength of their ships, not strength of numbers. which is why 1 cube > a fleet of starships.

want proof? look at wolf 359, the battle in the movie First Contact. The only way the ship in wolf 359 was defeated was by a boarding party, and the only way the ship in the movie was defeated was by Picard hearing the borg collective and hearing where they were weak. At any given time the borg fleet numbers in the low hundreds, including smaller ships, not just cubes. (but not including scout craft).

The main borg ship was a square wasn't it? I mean how lame is that?
