Best place to get runes?

I figured out it takes 153,609 hephasto runs to have a 1% chance of finding a zod rune,
and 15,360,983 runs to have a 100% chance of finding a zod rune from him

so, you better get started

that is a lot of runs...i only find um runes and and puls...what's the chances of getting better from trav or any other easier runs?...like mephisto (mal runes) and possible ist?

u get a character that can kill her fast (anything but cold sorc or fire sorc) and if u cant tele u get a friend to get his/her sorc and let them tele and then u kill fast and keep on doing this and share runes...... thas one way or u can get a enigma and make a hammerdin and own her *** by ure self and not share

I made a pure lightning sorc just for hell countess runs, and i routinely get puls and almost always a dol+, on ladder, at about 30 seconds a run w/ maphack that turns into some high runes pretty fast. If your not on ladder though, id have to say your only hope is to farm good items and trade for ruens, because if you cant upgrade, the chance of getting a high rune is astronomically(sp?) high... Hell Baal has the highest chance to drop a zod rune in the game and even off him its 6500000:1 odds(yes six and a half MILLION to one odds) So.... mathematically only about nine people in the whole game should have a botd... i think that deserves a big WTF dont you agree?

mathematically ur *** take a look at the Throne of Destruction. Every monster there can drop zod......... now there is around 50 monsters that u kill per baal game........ and if u had a 6,500,000 chance then now its a lot less (130,000) if u do 100 baal runs (which u should do to get in the +80) it ends up to be 130 now isnt that a lot better

dude, i know this question sounds dumb, but dumb questions are smart questions they say:

when you wear a tals armor then your amulet +65% mf bonus, does that get add on to where you wear the orb = another +65%

is this stackage??? of mf for each part added to the set? or what? :mad: stupid blizz should elaborate on this shit, why don't we keep our maphacks to see if it is true or not :eek: :confused:

my little math equation wasnt meant to be taken too seriously.. it was merely illustrating how hard it is to get runes, and how much theyve been duped.
As for the Tal armor, Any three items of the tal set worn together will give you 65 mf, once you have three pieces on any further pieces dont add mf(unless its naturally on the item not as a set bonus).So Tal Armor+Ammy+Belt=163-168mf, add the orb and it doesnt change. Hope that answered your Q.

i found a vex and a mal today... all i can say is if u have a hammerdin with enigma, do diablo runs in a random 8 player game... its easy, fast and u find a shitload of stuff...including runes

walking to baal...which includes killing stuff....can also be an alternative to doing countess runs. so far on baal walks ive found ravenlore,3x facets, cranium basher, boneflame, and tal armor. sometimes the drops on the way to baal are better than baals drops

Ya i like walkin baal even in nm they drop good and of course there is baal after all of it that usually drops pretty good
