ok let me start off by saying that this forum is so much better than any other forum i have been to. Just today I joined a dota dorum for warcraft3. well i made a guide showing people how to host using a dsl modem. Their mods close my forum because they said its to vague and there is another fourm like mine called port forwarding. PORT FORWARDING IS FOR ROUTERS. NOT A DIRECT CONNECT MODEM. I showed ppl how to get into your modem so u can allow access to certain pc games. people are so strict at that site. this is the longest forum I have ever been on. I might not post much or play d2 any more but idc about posting. I post when I feel that I need to. so let me say Thank You to Spit for making such and awesome site and Thank You to all the mods who run this site. thank you for not being dumb.
either way I feel like this site is where I should be for a fourm.
ps didnt know whether to put this in general or steam room. mods u can decide accordingly

This is a fine place to put it, as the hate only exists outside the forum (whatever that means I dunno lol). Anywho, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying yourself here - without the members we'd just be a little circle of people groveling for friends or something like that. Giebzorz freindz!

I too love this forum. However about 2 years ago. This mod keep telling me I'm spamming and I had so much warning. I was just a kid and was never mean =[

Who was it hun? I know some are more strict than others. Many of the *oldtimer* Mods have stepped down and only advise now.

Singing praises will always be allowed in Small Talk. Unless dedicated to pam. Those would have to be put in spam because she gets far to many. lol

Exactly..a former Mod was harrassing him and his account was banned,he stoped posting and it got deleted.

It was a neat forum when I was younger, however now that I've grown up and have been here over 3 years now, I've developed other interests and been introduced to online communities that function much differently, and in my opinion, a lot better. What I really don't get about this place is how everyone takes their post-count so seriously... no, your post-count is not you and it most certainly does not represent the size of your e-*****. And I think we can all agree, that contrary to popular belief, post-count does not also translate into how much contributions you have made to this community. I don't want to be making a real bold statement, however if it was all up to me. The post-count for each individual wouldn't be out there for everyone to view and mods should start caring less about 'spam' or 'irrelevant' post, as mods are doing too much about right now, such as baning long time members for making a dozen are so irrelevant posts or changing a threads topic unintentionally.
Edit: I just realized 'p.enis' was censored, and maybe thats why I am not attracted to this forum as much anymore... it's for kids.

well there are alot of 12 year old kids who do play pc games alot and im sure spit is taking certain measures so he doesnt get fined or something but about the post count. i understand you on that on. but Ive been here for awhile and i dont have a great post count and i dont really care about it. i check the site daily and if i see anything worth posting in then i will post. i spend about mabe 10-20mins on the site a day

Th problem is I believe diablo has a Mature rating.... So why is there all this censoreship when they game itself is not ment for this adience. On the other side if there wasn't a censoreship here the flaming would/could get out of hand so... I think a better balance could be found.

I remember signing up on these forums when they were pretty fresh. =] My buddy Cody from S.D got me into it. It was great back then. Then I quit d2 due to a slow computer and dial up connection. =[ I'd be a legend man!! But whats done is done, and the site still stands today as the only place I desire to post my problems, suggestions, and small talk. I thank anyone and everyone who works to keep this site up and running properly. You are appreciated. =]
