i went and saw the first showing of this movie. i camped out 5 hours (waited in a line inside the theater) to see this bitch and it doesn't fill up till like 9:30. that may have to do with the location and it being a relatively new theater.
but all in all, it was a great movie. felt a little rushed to me. Now all i have to do is wait till the 21st for the book.
so... your thoughts on the movie?

Frog I heard it was pretty good...but I am the *book nerd* type and I have not seen the movie, and prefer to read about it first.
This is also not too high on my priority list, and the only movie I EVER waited extensively in a line for was Jaws...the origional...my sister shared a seat with me and screamed bad things at the shark.

the movie is great frog and ares. i say so myself, but if you never read the books, you may get lost, cause i felt it was rushed.
aparently it was originally 3+ hours long, so they had to shorten it. too bad, maybe the dvd might have the extended version.

It was too short. About the same time as the first book's movie when this one is more than twice the pages. They missed a lot of the minute details and didn't really give you chance to hate Dolores as much as you did in the book. Pity, I wanted to enjoy watching her be tortured.
