umm... please and thankyou.

i installed it to vista. it installed and rebooted, im thinkin its all good then i go to play...and bam. it gave me a server exeption that says, "UNHANDLED_EXEPTION:ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)"

So your trying to play on D2 on Vista? On your laptop? Or are you forced to use your laptop, because your desktop is wack with Vista?

i did a tiny bit of reading...
people have suggested to uninstall, run scan disk and disk defrag, then reinstall again. see if that works
US East L/NL-arowws4 arowws5 uber/organ runs for free. Free items too. Just ask. Must be member of this site.

Sometimes i get that msg on XP, if restarting the game doesn't work, a fresh install of d2 always worked.
