Gah... Help with xbox live.

ok since microsoft is useless, i just got xbox yesterday, got a 3 month card for xbox like yeah yeah i set everything up. ok now, how do i play the game online? im trying to play halo online. how. stupid question i know >.>

lol. u have to sign in. hit the big middle button in your controller and then follow the intructions. select the account that has xbox live. from there your signed in. pop in a game and for halo when the title screen comes u have capmpaign,xbox live, system link, and splitscreen as options. click on xbox live obviously and then get to it

and none of them work.

sigh...... ok i got the card, entered it, did all of that special stuff, have everything connected right. i dont find any servers so wtf am i doing wrong?

So are you having trouble connecting to the H3 servers or xbox live?

eh, i found out what was wrong. i called ms up and according to them something was wrong with their servers...? which didn't make sense to me. but thanks for the help anyway.

halo 3 has alot of issues with not being able to have server room around mid day. when theres around 900k ppl online its really hard to try and play it online

I played it around 1.4 mil and haven't had a problem really.

I sometimes get this, all I do is shutdown my XBox and turn it back on and it works like a charm. It happens more when a guest starts playing with me, but thats what I always do and it always work. BTW, campaign should work, especially single player cause you don't need to be connected to the server to play it. So if that doesn't work, I'd check your disc. Mine came out of the case scratched.
