WoW PTR first: Vis Maior guild downs Eredar Twins, Felmyst v2

One of the biggest perks a World of Warcraft player can enjoy over at the Public Test Realm is getting first dibs on the new boss encounters.

Such was the case of the Vis Maior guild, which recently finished a run - a PTR world first, we add - on the Sunwell Plateau's fourth boss encounter: The Eredar Twins.

Here are the guild's notes on the pair ( as lifted from World of Raids):

• Lady Sacrolash is the melee version using Shadow Blades (melee shadow damage), Shadow Image and Shadowfury.
  
• Grand Warlock Alythess is the caster version, from what we have seen she is using 2 abilities (and probably some more):
  • Dark Touched, Healing effects reduced by 4 for 3 min. Stacks up to 25 times.
    
  • Flame Touched, 200 Fire damage inflicted every 3 sec for 3 min. Stacks up to 25 times.

Shortly after downing the twins, Vis Maior was called on by Blizzard GMs to test another upcoming boss encounter for patch 2.4: A revised version of the Felmyst battle. The guild noted that Felmyst version 2 now had more HP, and that you now have to dodge its deep breaths.

The encounter was reportedly bugged, and took them around five to seven tries to beat. As for the loots from their effort:

• Chain Links of the Tumultuous Storm
  
• Essence of the Immortals
  
• Badge of Justice (x2)
  
• T6 boots token(x3)

Keep in mind that these battles are world firsts - meaning that more changes may be implemented to these encounters in the near future. That said, we hope this first impressions report gives you an ample glimpse of what may be arriving for the public realms.
