overclocking
#1
i'm lookin to MAYBE mess around with my computer. it's an HP laptop, AMD turion 64x2 1.9.

ok so, w/o getting crazy into overclockin what kind of boost can i expect? 2.4 2.5 ?? can you even add a fan to a laptop? when people say it reduces the life of the computer can you estimate that? like 50% / 20%?

any comments would be helpful

laptops are not the best to OC, if you fuck it up, its fucked it. Hard to get proper cooling too, my recommendation is don't do it with a laptop.

With a Turion proc on an HP laptop I would say don't do it. You'll only fry your system.

and not the mention that laptops already have a heat issue. you would only make it worse
