So yeah since the ladder was reset I decided to get back into the game but once again back on Classic.
So I game on US WEST SOFTCORE LADDER NON EXP. I remember there was a good amount of people that played with me last time on classic and I heard one still does so if you did or do reply with account =] I already got a few people to install Diablo2 to play with me on Classic so if your in hit me up

Thats funny because I just started classic yesterday because I got bored of LOD. Unfortunetly I'm on east.. =[

it isnt harder to me. But um. Many things you can get away with on classic you cannot on lod. Like making a nova/orber. And plus you can get alot of gems to roll charms while you runefarm
But I am bioshop or UejYi in west ladder softcore classic

lod is so much easier, anni torch and 9skill gcs. is +14 skills... not adding on gear.

If you want a REAL challenge, try classic hc. I can never survive in it.

ive started many times but oh man is it hard about lvl 30s you cant lvl up that fast, have yet to find any decent items,
your always going to town for pots
=p

I play classic but on USEAST Ladder. The major changes is that mostly your looknig for uniques/rwords in exp, but it is rare items that make up the value in classic. So that is why its more challenging, because the stats are different and each rare has its own value. Certain uniques such as sojs/silks/gskins have value in classic and most of the regular uniques such as magefists/ twitchthroe/ gtoes, etc. can add value.
Other then that, you cant baal, you must cs to lvl up. Your damage will be much weaker (i have non-ladder sorc on classic and her max blizz dmg is 3.5k) and you cant use druids or assns. But classic is still stong on useast ladder and the rares items you find might get you somewhere. I play it because well LoD items have remained pretty much same value throughtout the entire game and since 1.10/1.11, no new items have been introduced so it feels much the same.
Conclusion: Less builds in classic. I'd say 2 major builds are hdins (10k+ max dmg),blizz sorcs and other builds r fire sorcs,ww barbs, cs zons, bone necros, corpse explosion necros, enchanters (hardcore).

Its more of an independent play, you dont have a bunch of kids out there to baal with you. In order to Chaos Run you NEED a good party, you almost ALWAYS need a good Din and a good Sora.
