Finally Coming back to D2

Hey guys,
Im just coming back to d2 after years of not playing. Last time I played was around 1.8 - 1.9 time, so its been quite a long time. From what I can tell the game has changed quite a bit.
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to get back into the swing of things. Just wanted some basic info. What toon should I roll? Im gona need something that I can use to get me back into the game economy. I was thinking blizz sorc. Can anyone tell me what I should be mfing these days? Im sure pindle runs are out by now .
Also if anyone is interested in helping a returning player get some rushes Id be very appreciative!

Yea Blizz sorc probably the best.. and then NM andy,meph and maybe diablo until you get gear to do hell andy and meph untill you keep getting better.
