McCains decision
#1
BBC NEWS | Americas | McCain picks female running mate

I found this to be interesting.

I also believe this has been done only once? and in the 1920s or so?

Plus they're both Roman Catholic if I believe, which is also a first?

It's a bold move, she wouldn't have been my first pick but being a woman is going to get him a lot of the Clinton supporters.

If McCain wins, and then dies, this lady will become the first female president. Do you think Hillary will /slit if that happens?

It's just the most rediculous decision ever, Obama chose quality above gender, now this guy is choosing just for gender, no one knows the girl.
Silly stunt if you ask me

Silly stunt if you ask me

One, the girls from Alaska, so a lot of people won't know her unless they're political buffs or are politicians.
Two, you don't even live in the USA, and as far as I know governors arnt widely reported on.

I bet there is only one governor in America that a lot of people know, any guesses?

But I would have to agree. This is probably a bad decision, and unless it plays out like its spose to (McCain gets the Hilary supports and keeps his) then him and Barrack will actually have an even chance of winning.

If you guys haven't noticed McCain has been going up in the polls...this is a very good decision, especially since she's known for rooting out corruption. Barack chose the third most liberal man in the senate...he would have chose John Kerry, the second most, but that would have been a bad move. Biden is, quite frankly, an idiot.

I love how Palin's 17 year daughter is pregnant and that republicans are also known for being conservative.

I can only hope that McCain went to Rice first and she said "Hell no!" and thats why he chose Palin. If it ever gets out he never went to Rice he'll have effectively lost my vote.

Palin's DS baby son and pregnant 17 year old make her seem all the more real to the general public.

I like to take Obama and McCain out of it and start the process over again. I don't like either of 'em. The US could do better.

Don't you watch South Park? An election is always between a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich!

Very good decision imo. Her thing is Alaskan oil, which could be the root of fixing many problems in America if it's done correctly.

McCain gained a tiny bit of respect from me on Friday when he announced it in Ohio. He's going to win too, Obama just looks like a clown at this point (not that they both aren't).
