Error installing

This happens with most programs, not just Adobe.

Error 1303. The installer has insufficient privlages to access this directory: D\Adobe Reader. The installation cannot continue. Log on as an administrator or contact your system administrator.

Does it make any difference if you disable UAC and Right Click > Run as Admin.

I tried that, the "Administrator" has a pw on it, and "jay" doesn't. How do I figure out the admin pw?

Here is a quick fix for you. Adobe Reader 9 Portable. Requires no install.

I would try taking UAC of that will help in most cases, have you tried using no Password? Have you tried setting you PC on fire and doing a native ritual dance? For me that has had better luck fixing Vista.

How do I set it to use no pw? =\

With the Adobe you gave me Luke, it can't read the e-book you sent me. Say's the .pdf file is either the wrong file type, or corrupt.

I've already tried to re-download the .pdf, too.
