How do you kill diablo

Having trouble killing Diablo in the expansion set. Help

What character, what skills?
Either way, you might want to just take shots at him, go back to town and heal. Rinse and repeat.
Either that, or level and get new gear for your character.

Level 62 and I am pretty well armored up but when he throws out that heat wave it takes most of my life. 76 in lightening 63 for fire

Sorceress level 38

Since you're a Sorceress go up close and static him a shitload. If he kills you just tele back.
Pick up your body and finish him off.

Dude I play FFXI but we HAVE Diablos in it...4 years and I STILL can not kill that *****...*fumes*

Open a Town Portal before you engauge the boss so youll never have to run back.

Or maybe get some friends to help you out ya know?

Get some fire resist/absorb gear if the heat wave is killing you. If you're on normal mode then it wont take much resist to be effective. Other than that if you Static the hell out of him as was already suggested he's an easy kill.

You kill him very carefully, and in a team if you don't have any higher levels in your party.
