Math, I usually don't talk down to you, but shut the **** up. Playstation has more online capability than the 360. You'd know that if you payed attention to any of the other threads.
But Halo 3 was a Bungie/Microsoft production, so it's doubtful it will ever see anything but the Xbox or PC.

I don't think Microsoft would do it, simply because it would give some people more of a reason to own a PS3 and less of a reason to own a 360. Not a lot of people, but some. They wouldn't want to give Sony any kind of advantage because they like where they're at right now.

First of all, neither does Microsoft or Bungie. Neither have dedicated servers to play these games online. That's why theres bullshit like host.
Second, Microsoft is the only one that can publish a Halo game. You should consider yourself lucky too, because it use to be Bungie games period.

Not only that but Microsoft is probably offering them more money to stay with them and only them so more people buy out Microsoft products instead of Sony that way in the long run Microsoft is actually making more money but Bungie gets a bigger cut on their part. It works for the both of them.
This is what i think though not really whats happening.

Bungie used to design games exclusively for Macs. It wasn't until they showed off the engine for Halo that Microsoft's interest peaked and Microsoft bought Bungie. That's right, it's not a contract or being bribed with money that keeps Bungie with Micrsoft...it's that the big MS owns them.

Heh, was gonna say what Blue said. Bungie has attained it's freedom, though we have yet to see what will come of it, since all they're doing right now is Halo stuff(Halo: ODTS and Halo Wars). I think they were planning a Marathon game?

Hadn't heard they split. I'm sure the price for freedom involved some sort of contract.
