Those names I know and listen to. As for country? A lot of it now sounds almost "Pop" and they have lost much of the Hank Williams "Twang"

gangsta's paradise ? great tune..not many know its a cover off of a stevie wonder song. i hate this new era of rap its garbage. Same beat played over and over again. Stupid lyrics and such. The only song i liked with that type of stuff was like the justin timberlake and 50 cent song

Good going. And what song are you talking about? Cause I would bet anything that you are talking about TI and not 50.

Annd ofcourse i don't listen to rap songs on cd. If u can't have a good hit song who the hell would buy the record. Thankgod for 60s-70s rock n roll. No one...no one can beat the beatles. Period. MS-Paint at its finest.

My point exactly. The hit songs are what makes the money. You have to listen to every song and see what someone is actually rapping about to make any judgement calls.

I mean thats why the came to existance...show off your best songs. On a side note. Led Zeppelin 4 never saw any media attention (hit songs and stuff) and was extremely succesful and extremely good.
