Well in Obabma's defense it was the right choice. I do not CARE that his military advisors had to strongly advise against the release of the photos.Giving up the MEMO'S was bad enough....pictures speak louder than words and he would be shooting himself in the foot by having them out there before major talks to Egypt and other countries.

Make no mistake I do not like the man...but I would be remis in not giving him credit when he makes a good choice that affects thousands of lives.

Giving prosoners of war human rights was an international agreement. It ensures that our enemies will treat our own soldiers with a modicum of civility if they're captured. Sure, Al Qaida and the Taliban might not give the same treatment, but if we lack the conviction to uphold our own agreements, whose to say that others will hold up to theirs in the event that they see us in battle? It's personal protection for our own men and women based on a system of reciprocal respect, and regardless of what happens, I'd stick by giving people the semi-humane treatment that I would hope they would give me. If they murder, kill 'em. If they haven't done anything but doubtless will try, hold 'em. I think it's important to try to get them to talk, but I don't think that it's right to go to extremes. They're still people.

Yes I am speaking of Pelosi...the Speaker of the House and former National Security Chairman.......She shamed her office and is in her position because of connections,money and she is a woman. Having a ****** does NOT qualify her for the jobs she has held.

Being a woman myself I do not say this in a biased way against women....but SHE...is an idiot.Everyone should earn a position...passing it to a mediocore female to look good to constituents is irresponsible.
