What are your worst injuries!?
#1
Only injuries that occured because of ure actions. So tripping and breaking your thumb works but being tackled in foot ball doesnt.

I'll start:

I dislocated my right knee cap playing basketball when i jumped on a run and stopped sideways

I've cut down and chipped off some bone on my knuckle (that is still stuck in the flesh) from notching an arrow with a knife

I was cooking one time and stuck a pan in the oven to roast. Now because i usually never go from stove top to oven, i stupidly grabbed the steel pan with my bare hands. Anyways it wasn't cooked so i put it back in the oven and than grabbed it with my bare hands again.

One time while i was biking (recently) i tried to avoid a collision with oncoming traffic cones that were untop of stripped off road (so just dirt and rocks there people). Anyways i tried to hope onto the side walk but my tires just skidded on the side of it. I was nearing the cones so i decided to jump off.. bad idea. I was going atleats 30km/hr and so i bailed (thankgod for a helmet). I skid on my left side for a couple meters ripping a hole through my tshirt at my shoulder and shredding it there, shredding my elbow (atleast 10 square cm of skin gone...3 square inches?), two deep gashes on my left palm from rocks on the sidewalk. A large bruise on my left hip and 3 seperate injuries to my left knee area (almost exactly like my elbow). The worst was actually my right upper knuckle. All the skin layers were torn off..its been about a month and week since than and its still healing with a scab.

Whats your incredible stories!?
what is your story

I bet your mom yelled at you for not being careful..mine would have.

My worst to date... I broke my pinky knuckle bone thing because my friend bet me I couldn't punch through 3 pieces of drywall stacked on each other when I was 15. His brother held them up in front of me, and I punched as hard as I could. They broke in half, but so did that bone. :\ I didn't realize it for about 5 minutes, when I started having trouble grasping things because it hurt too bad. Then it bruised behind and along my pinky, and in my palm. Just a standard boxer's fracture, though.

And in track I dislocated my right knee. It bent in like this: < Not that far, but still hurt. Made a loud pop. My track coach didn't even yell at me when I shouted "son of a *****, that hurt!". It's not the kind of injury that likes to heal all the way on it's own. It's been 4 years and it still gives me trouble if I put too much stress on it. :\ Like kicking a soccer ball as hard as I can. I got into soccer last year again and was kicking against the side of the house when my knee popped again and I had to quit for the rest of the summer.

Mine would also have to have been my collar bone. Playing footy, got tackled, landed awkwardly, heard a massive snap, got up, looked at my shoulder and i was staring at my bone that had snapped up and burst out of my skin.
Was pretty gross.

i heard that guys are able to ignore pain, but that's like you heard a massive snap, got up like you weren't hurt, looked and said " oh that's where the snap is*yawn*"

Sometimes pain can be so intense that your brain blocks it out. Like guys that get limbs blown off and don't realize it at first. Your brain either does that, or gets overwhelmed and you pass out. xD I bet that once you really realized what had happened, it hurt like a ***** though, eh Nex?

It wasn't overly painful, it only really hurt if i moved. The most painful thing was going to sleep and waking up with my arm over my head... then having to put it back down.

Its either from shock or adrenaline. I was about 3 km away from my house when i crashed on my bike. I just got right back up (after two near by people asked if i was ok) and biked home. I had no pain at all untill i sat down. And than it hurt.

In High School got elbowd in the face playing Basketball.it ripped thru my upper lip and knocked out a tooth...I never even cried...even getting stitches.

In Jr.High..I was climbng on a roof with my cousin and he pushed me off,I felt OK for a few days, but in reality it broke my back,I was 12 at the time.

I was skiing in Colorado and was hit by another guy and his ski went right between my legs and caused a massive hematoma.
We both tumbled down, but I could not walk out and had to be carried off the mountan.
It was the size of a grapefruit and I had to lay still for 2 weeks.

The worst was intecourse with my husband after uteine surgery, the stitches were not completely healed,he is NOT a small man..and he tore them baddly.

Had to be ambulanced and emergency surgery...again.
Last week I broke my toe dropping a can (stupid toes) and have had 4 broken fingers.

Good thing women have high thresholds for pain. Trust me,we would never survive Motherhood if we didn't.

i think that they just deal with it when the time comes

It's the age old "What's worse? A hard kick in the balls, or child birth?" No one will ever know. Child birth seems more traumatic, but I've been kicked in the balls. It's a deep, radiating kind of pain. You feel it over a fair portion of your body. It lingers. I watched my wife give birth, and that seemed pretty bad...but it's hard to tell which would be worse. I'd rather experience neither.

Well, I think a child birth is worse, but there U can ask for some painkiller. But when someone just hit your balls, well there aren't any painkillers there... I dont wanna be a test guy at neither place.

I had my skull cracked open 3 times as a young child (yes I was dropped as a baby now the joke is out of the way.) Once was cause I fell down the stairs, once my sister tried to get me outside and body slammed my walker, and the third time, my dad was roller skating and holding me and he tripped and I flew out of his arms and hit the cement.
