Ladder Reset for Diablo II (Season 8)

Last week I predicted a Ladder Reset based on previous ladder resets,
unfortunately I only posted this prediction in the chat and not here, so you'll just have to take my word for it. (I called it last time too )

Also according to users in the chat, a posting on Blizzards site said that Ladder resets will happen every month. So far I have been unable to confirm this report.

What in the word r they thinking man! less than 6 months for the current patch...not to mention they will reset every month...what's the point in playing ladder then!!!!!!!!!!!

The monthly reset is just a rumor. I can't see it being true unless D3 is coming out really soon and they feel the resets will keep people interested till it's release. Just a thought.

wat a silly thot ......did it mention anything about anti-bot yet? and are there ways we can somehow transfer items back to ladder acc lol?

No patching was mentioned.
They usually don't give notice about patch till it's out I think.

And no, there is no way to use items from ladder on ladder once it has reset.
You'll have to find everything again. Which makes trading very interesting...rolleyes:

So I'm guessing there will be no patch, since they announced it last time, and made no mention of it for this reset.

I made an account on Ladder and already got 16 characters of GG items,
most of which I'm trading off cheap for runes to make ladder only runewords for the reset since I don't have much time left to make them. devilish:

I hope they are not making restrictions on botting lol... I know it's not legit to play with a bot, but many people just don't have the time to magicfind everyday lol... So in the end there will be a reset, but not a patch?

Also if you check ebay or any D2 store that's not dead, you'll see that prices for Ladder items are insane.
Example: Ber Rune $89 (Just 1!)

Plus at least one of these shops is offering what looks like about $100,000 in rewards in the form of gift certificates for the site.
So right now, it seems it pays to play.

The ber runes being 69$ each is CRAZY. I went looking for runeword recipes(I can't get arreatsummit to load correctly) and I saw that, and my jaw dropped. Who in their right mind buys a rune for 69$? Really? An infinity was 150$ on one site! o.O Crazyness, Can't wait for ladder to die down a bit.

The prices have lowered a little bit...down to $39 now.

Unfortunately for those that use these sites, the prices for ladder items will never be the same again unless a new dupe method is discovered.
Blizzard wants to keep the game fresh in the hopes that it keeps players attracted until D3 is released in 2012 (Estimate).
Ladder resets should be more frequent now, which means stock for Ladder items wont be as plentiful as previous ladder seasons.

I wouldn't download any program off of youtube, In my opinion. It's a site for entertainment, and downloading programs comes with the risk of viruses and such. I would find a real life friend that is uber smart with computers and have him try and make/find a dupe method for you. o.O Just my two cents.
