How can i run 2 bots at the same time on the same pc.
I want my hdin to do diabaals and my light sorc to mf.
I have 2 profiles 1 each and they run fine alone. But I cant seem to figure out how to get them both running at the same time, I have 4 classic and 4 lod keys so thats not the problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

all im asking is did u use a cd key generator and if so which one?

Caviet: I havent tested this myself but read it in passing. Try it and see if it works.
Setup 2 users on your PC and use fast user switching to run one in each profile at the same time

I doubt you will find any keygens that will actually work with bnet.[COLOR="Silver"]

Works a dream. 2 different Diablo2 folders in program files. Create new administrator user. Start D2NT select profile change game.exe path to different folder and set cdkey.mpq.

Because you asked a question that was irrelevant to the thread.
So i went by the saying "stupid question gets stupid answer". I bought the cd keys ages ago from a site. Cant remember which, just google. they arent that expensive.

BASIC Step by step guide.
Notes:
- by basic I assume you will do some thinking here:
- this is theory and untested(caviet), if I missed a step update this thread and Ill update my guide.
-Im lazy today, no proofing so excuse spellings and errors - thx.
-You cannot run the same character twice on closed bnet (SP, OPEN is possible but not explaining that here)
-Running the same account twice+ is risky -IMO create a unique account for each bot.
-you need a set of keys for each account you make
1. Copy diablo 2 folder to a new folder
2. click START > control panel > User accounts > add or remove user > create new account >
3. Type a "new account name" - I typed "Diablo2 bot" as the username
4. Select Administrator > Create account.
**Now you have 2 accounts to switch between**
------bot and folder setup-----
5. If you havent already setup the bot on your main account, do that.
6. copy the bot folder to a new location (I chose to put the bot and copy of diablo 2 in a folder called "d2botting"(ie: "C:\d2bot2\").
----switching to your other account----
7. Start > switch user > Diablo2 bot >
8. Find your copy of the bot folder (ie: "C:\d2bot2\d2nt (copy)\")
-----running the bot manager------
9. run the manager ("D2NT Manager.exe"?)
10. select a different character to your main account and make sure you use a second set of CDkeys
*Buy a second set of CDkeys
*search for serbys cdkey tool to setup multiple keys
11. Run the bot and then switch users for each bot you want to run
(repeat for each bot you want to setup).

Or make 2 folders with the diablo folder in it with 2 different cd keys, then just start the diablo.exe with sandbox, easy as making a sandwich :p

Takes a little time and patience, but I renamed the Diablo II folder, uninstalled Diablo II, reinstalled it with the NEW Classic/Expansion keys, and then mapped the bots to separate D2's. Works just fine for me now, anyone else want to try and verify I didnt just get lucky? =P

Yep i did it the same way, i have 3 maps like that all running toghether with sandboxie, 4th comming up :p

I also did it this way and it works. I run 5 instances on one PC and I think you can have up to 6 per IP. Below is a great tutorial on how to do it. Copy the link to an address bar if the link doesn't work.

I m using this way from two years,
There is only the inconvenience of switch the various accaunt in a same pc.
I use 4 accaunts and diablo 2lod.
Unfortunately more then 4 players with same ip address can't join in a comtemporary.
