PvP Rabid Fury Druid
#1
PvP Rabid Fury Druid by bobsmith10

Hello all and I hope you enjoy this build as much as I do, It's one of my favourite characters that I have.

Index:
1. Breakpoints
2. Stats
3. Gear
4. Skills

1. Breakpoints

FHR Breakpoints
0% - 7
9% - 6
20% - 5
42% - 4
86% - 3
280%- 2

For this build you are going to be going for the 86% breakpoint, which will be really easy to get.

2. Stats

Strength:
Only put enough point into this to wear your gear.

Dexterity:
Put enough points into this to get max block. This is very important because you are going to be fighting toe to toe with people and you are going to want to be blocking as many hits as you can be.

Vitality:
Put all the rest of your points into this, the more points you put into this that more health you will have.

Energy:
None, you are going to have enough mana to cast everything you are going to with your gear on, this character does not use a lot of mana.

3. Gear

Helm:
Jalal's Mane:
-30 FHR
-20% AR
-+2 Druid skills
-+2 Shape Shifting skills
-+30 to all resistances
-+20 to strength
-socketed with sheal for more fhr

Armor:
Bramble in Archon plate
-Thorns Aura
-50 FHR
-+ to poison skill damage
-+300 defence
-+5 max cold resistance
-+30 fire resistance
-+100 poison resistance

This build uses bramble because it will add the most poison damage for rabies which is what is going to do the major bulk of the damage you do.

Weapon:
Grief in Phase Blade
-+ to IAS
-+ to damage
--enemy poison resistances
-20% deadly strike

This will appear to do very little damage but will actually do a lot of hidden damage due to the +damage and will also do a lot of damage with rabies due to the -enemy poison resistance.

Shield:
Storm Shield:
-+ defence
-25% increased blocking
-35% faster block rate
-damage reduced 35%
-+ 60% to cold resistance
-+ 25% to light resistance
-+ 30 strength
-indestructible
-socketed with cham for cannot be frozen

Gloves:
Soul Drains:
- Life steal
- Mana Steal
- Chance to cast weaken

Crafted gloves:
- Life steal
- Mana steal
- 20 IAS
- plus other mods

Either of these gloves are good for this build, the 20 ias helps with fury attack speed, but on the other hand so does weaken, I personally use Soul Drains but that only because I haven't tried to hard to get the crafted gloves.

Boots:
Gore Riders:
-30 FRW
-10% open wound
-15% deadly strike
-15% crushing blow

Belt:
String of Ears:
-Life steal
-Damage Reduced

Amulet:
Angelic Wings
-plus 75 to health

Rings:
Angelic Halo x2
-plus 20 to health
-massive attack rating boost

Charms:
Hellfire Torch:
-+3 Druid skills
-plus to attributes
-plus to all resistances

Annihilus:
-+1 all skills
-plus to attributes
-plus to all resistances
-extra experience gained

Grand Charms:
-+1 Druid Shape Shifting skills
-any mods

4. Skills:

Raven - 1
These are helpful because the interrupt enemy's attack.

Poison Creeper - 20
This is a synergy for Rabies.

Oak Sage - 1
Adds a large life bonus.

Werewolf - 20
This is needed to use rabies and Fury, also the higher this skill is the more attack rating and the higher you ias will be.

Lycanthropy - 20
This adds a lot of life.

Rabies - 20

Fury - 20

These will be your attacks,on your left click use rabies. Use this until you hit your enemy and they are poisoned, then start using fury on your right click. Fury will keep you alive due to the life steal from the gloves and the belt and also will help kill them off faster.

Cyclone Armor - 1
This will make you absorb even more damage.

And there you are the Rabid Fury Druid, hits hard with rabies and then slowly naws away their life and steals life to keep you alive with fury. This build can have over 4k life and over 30kar, with poison damage from rabies around 20k damage.

Might be 20k rabies until venom procs(from the grief), then damage gets shortened to .4 seconds

I have never noticed that the poison damage gets shortened, I have seen people continue to lose health after I have died from the damage due to rabies and some people have even died, and you cannot die from the poison damage from venom it will only take you down to 1hp

you are correct the venom is only applied to the physical portion, the rabies actually carries like a spell, so the venom does not override.
