bot with no tele?

is it possible to have my smiter (which i use for pvp) run simple placed like trav, shenk, ect without using enig? i dont want to do some massive overhaul on my char with a mule and everything because i have gear changes for absorbing and different types of pvp encounters. would it work if i didnt have it teleing where it needs to go? the idea being mostly for xp.
