this is getting way offtopic, anyway back to the thread there are a couple points brought up for me to adress:
1

where is your bandwith going if only a fraction of it is being used

its just sitting there, unless you have any company download item, then companies can access your comp from just a screensaver.
2.

Diablo 2 is just an 8 player hack and slash game:

wrong, diablo 2 online gives you the power to pick a fight, murder someone on hardcore, steal from people, give to people, scam someone, impress someone, run away, start an argument, and a whole lot of other things. and thats the way with pretty much any online game, be it with diablo 2 hacking and slashing (melee) or firing arrows, blizzard, bonespirits, traps or hurricane (ranged). the genious in diablo 2 is also how rare the items are found, now i can tell you i find a ton of items, but some items, being so rare, still encourages me to go out and trade, search, or wait untill i get an intown pickit for drop games .

Omg that everquest suicide is pretty ****ing sad, i mean who would give their life for a game? i certainly hope that i get no where to that level of addiction...True in the back of my mind i think about how bad diablo is and how its a pointless game that i should stop playing, but i cant help my addiction...ive heard of kids droping out of college for this game... im defiantly going to stop playing this game once i get to college

d2 is like one of the coolest games i have played online and if any one will help me i have a prob.....me and my friend have game just i borrowed his version of d2 to download it then i got expansion but we still cant play together....so if you can help me plz do...(and plz dont tell me that i have to get d2...lol):eek:
