Rap isn't a form of rock. How do you get that? And blues has lyrics, so you lose there, too. Rock has a different style. That's the difference between one form of music and another. Style. Not whether or not it's poetic. And wheeeeeeere the hell did you get rap has blues? All music does. It's both a style and a substyle. To sing the blues is to unload your woes in a musical/vocal form, expressing with the notes and style of your singing your sadness. All music has that. You dun know music too well.
