Im sorry but someone has to say it... Black metal is not a part of this topic. Black metal also sucks considering most of it is someone complaining about themselves wanting to commit suicide. You also cant even understand them. Theres only 4 good black metal bands: Gorgoroth, Cradle of Filth, Dark Funeral, and Satyricon.
Now back to rap or rock...

Also, it's simply an opinion I stated, I prefer Black metal to both Rap and Rock. About lyrics: I have to disagree there, a very large portion of Black metal lyrics are about self enlightenment(Through Satan or other ways, depends entirely on the band.) Borknagar, for instance doesn't write about killing themselves. Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone writing about killing themselves. Killing Others, perhaps, but that is all in the name of 'purity' (NSBM is white power music, after all.) Try listening to some of different black metal, Burzum is a great place to start, doesn't get much black than Burzum. I can even send some to you if you'd like. Also, I'm glad to see another gamer who tries to write their posts correctly. It's rather rare these days, with people trying to go for speed instead of accuracy.

wow that was 100% bullshit...id never think id see it 100% bullshit how rare....ok done with that. Black metal is usualy about killing others/hurting your self and any white power stuff is crap as states before 100% shit just like neo-nazis there crap.

Post some links to lyrics (If not the lyrics themselves) Prove me wrong, back up your claims. I know for a fact that statment is false, but you seem to have it drilled into your head pretty well.

i listen to mostly the rock stereotype. i can not stand alot of the new "emo" bands. i can not relate at all to it. i rather get my frusteration out with some slipknot or iron maiden. my faveorite bands are (in order of faveorite) pink floyd, slipknot, iron maiden, rush, ac/dc, everything after that is all tied

i'm a rock fanatic, totally can identify with -=jessica=-...slipknot and korn are godlike. you know, manson and all that. personally, i don't call rap music, because it's not real music...computer generated background, and elevated speaking. ... that's not music, to me.
