You are quite wrong there. many rockstars have killed people. most of them just kill themselves though in a example of the rock and roll lifestyle. Im guessing you wont of heard the brutal axe muders of burzum and mayhem

Ok I voted for rock because that is my personal preference. As a music major in college I have little respect for SOME rappers due to their lack of caring for an art and only doing something cause they know how to rhyme words. But the way you must look at it is any reasonable lyricist is a master of meter, arranging words so syllables are strategically placed and set for a better more even sound. Anyone who can do that, successfully has my respect and I am more than happy to see them make money for their talent. But there are some rappers who just rhyme...you don't have to rhyme in music, it's ok to do but not on every song and it's especially dumb when they make up words for a rhyme. But for the most part I can have some respect for some rappers and none for the others, but I will only listen to rap for dancing purposes, in which case it's for a good beat and not for the rap aspect of it.
