My kb is f**ked up...cant use it at all...not responding...worked well for the past 3 years...
it can work with another comp...but not mine...=\
Im currently using a On-Screen Kb....dam hard to type...so u see me less these days...too hard to reply lol...

It may be the port your using on your computer thats buggerd... Not the keyboard itself if its working on other comps... If its the older style, get a USB keyboard and problem fixed...

hmm....the num lock is workin just when i switched it on....after 100% startin windows's bar (during my startup) it wont respond....
btw im not really askin for help...why move this here?Since its here...might as well ask lol...

Because its computer discussion related obviously.
Its simple..
First = Re-install windows
If not...
Second = Format and install windows
If not...
Third = Replace your motherboard :p
Since you said they worked on other computers and num-lock etc works before windows is loaded then there is a high chance its software related.

better yet dont go that far to fix a keyboard prob , plug a diffrent keyboard "that u KNOW works" in the same space and if it works 100% then your keyboard is F"ed and your comp/os is fine. If the keybaord i plugged in dosnt work then its your Mobo
Not to be rude but how would re installing your Os help with a hardware / IO problem?

actually i had the same problem a few months ago, i had a peice of crap keyboard that i bought for 10$ from futureshop up here.. worked for 6months.. then for some reason.. windows wouldnt let it work anymore.. but it would work right up to it.. i just bought a new one and everything was fine afterwards.. but.. its really REALLY strange if you ask me.. it would work in my linux distro no problem, but windows just wouldnt take it

drivers for a keyboard no such thing except to mabey config your shortkut buttons if you have any.

Really eh? Wish people knew what they are talking about and didnt bullshit. Goto Device Manager and look under keyboards. There you will find your keyboard and its driver details. I choose to use a Logitech Driver instead of the default windows one.
