Does Larzuk always give the max amount of sockets an item can have, or is it random?

yeah he jipped me in hell lol only gave me one socket so I know its random but the socket is used well so I'm not too mad.

the larzuk gives max sockets to all normal items which permits sockets. (this means all white/gray letter items. no boot, glove, belt, or jewelery)

it gives 1-2sockets to blue and yellow coloered name items (meaning magic and rares)

finally it gives 1 socket to all gold items( unique duh)

not sure about crafted items ill make a crappy crafted and c wat it gives

obviously you found it 3 socketed. larzuk always gives max in hell. ill test it on normal sometime

*slaps forehead* That's how you do it!! Rofl I had no idea how you socketed items in 1.10 but I never needed to because I trade for Runewords. I though you could still do it with gems but only flawless.:confused: Well at laest I know now...

ps: I mean 6 sockets in ethreal weapons. I'm not THAT dumb

iXtreme is right, just in normal the max sockets that larzuk will do is 4, its 6 in the other difficulties and always 1 for uniques.

I know larzuk gives max sockets for elite class, what about exceptional? IE. I have a mage plate, i want to use it on larzuk, is it guaranteed he'll give 3 sockets? (i socketed a dusk shroud on larzuk this morning, gave 4 sockets as expected)

most of the time he gives the max sockets so you should be safe with your mage plate as far as i know .. good luck with that.
