No, if I got one of those, I'd be dead. I had 2 seconds to get in the restroom, it was moving 25 MPH straight at me. Those are after the tornado hit.

Moving at 25MPH and only that much dmg musta been an F2 at least. Weaker tornadoes tend to move quickly.

In the first picture, the window where the silver thing is, that's my room. I saw the 'nado touch down, ran down stairs with a camera, tried to get a shot, but had no time.

F5's are about a mile wide and can move MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than F1's. You got it mixed up Nubli...
09-02-2004, 03:03 PM
Heh, the damage was estimated around F2-F3. But 3 years earlier, another one killed an Albertson's nearby. HEYman might know about it.

We get nice lil F1 or F2 nado's around here alot, last year one launched a hail ball (chunk of solid ice) through my cousin's roof, he whole was about 10" wide.. But yea people build their houses in areas where natural disasters happen because..there is nowhere on the planet where you are safe from one..at least not entirely. Plus, if we all tried to live in the safest place, it would be far too cramped to live comfortably. Anyway, maybe I should post some pics of the flood that hit here ... water was like 30' up from the regular height.

ahhh yes so lycshifz ur movin 2 texas 2 get away from a hurricane but..... o yea isnt texas in tornado ally so u runnin from 1 disaster 2 another IF u get a tornado where u live and 1 mo thing is it tornado season cuz i duno also y dont tornado victms move but i bet skidude got that 1 covered -_-
09-02-2004, 03:18 PM
Tornado season is April to August.
09-02-2004, 03:22 PM
Tornado victims don't usually move bcause of the BS the government throws on you after a disaster.

TroGdoR Wrote:F5's are about a mile wide and can move MUCH MUCH MUCH faster than F1's. You got it mixed up Nubli... I know they can move a lot faster, but you don't ever see an F5 going 50 MPH do you? They tend to move around 10-20MPH.

All I know is that the higher the category, the faster the windspeed. And you'd think that the faster the windspeed, the faster the tornado. Makes sense to me...

My country NEVER has torndos,hurricanes,earthquakes...=)
